The packing is a pain to open, did not open easily, I had to use garden shears. Poor packing design. The product is fine, no problems. 2 stars deducted because the product could be damaged if not carefully opened.

This shaver works well (close shaves, but takes a while), but the major problem at least in my case is that the foil and blades do not last long at all. I have found that I have to replace them within 2-3 months of dry shaving. Beyond this time frame, I have a difficult time shaving and I start to get cuts on my face. This is unacceptable in my opinion especially when one considers the expense involved to replace the blades and foil. By the way, I like to have real close shaves and even when the foil and blades are brand new, it takes me a lot longer than 3-5 minutes (more like 20 minutes)to shave to my satisfaction. I have never tried wet shaving and perhaps that is the problem. I plan on trying it with a shaving gel in the very near future and perhaps I can then provide a more satisfactory review.

Panasonic shavers have very thin foil for closer shave (I guess!). As a result foil is very fragile. But it works very well, and changing the foil and blades was no brainer!!
