I hate traditional shaving especially the foaming up of your face part. I was hoping this is going to be no different than how the traditional blades slides on the skin. Not only that you have to go back and forth to get every hair, push hard down on your skin to make sure no spot is left the end result is not as smooth a shave as you get from the traditional shaving method. It was hard to even get all the spots under the chin towards your neck. Last but not least, I had reaction (not sure from what probably hair follicle infection) on my skin with visible reddish spots.
I am a big fan of Panasonic products but this is not for me.

This is hands down the best electric shaver I have ever used. I've had many $50-$60 electric shavers from Remington and Norelco (both foil and circular). I've always gawked at paying over $100 for a shaver. When this Panasonic shaver came up on Amazon's Deal of the Day for $87, I was still a bit leary of paying that much, but the fact that it normally retails for over $100 (and a SRP of $199) and all the good reviews I read, I made the jump. I am so glad I did. I have never experienced quite a close shave as this one has provided. It literally makes my face feel as smooth as if I had used a straight edge.
From the package, it had 10% battery life. It claimed it was at 100% within 40 minutes or so. I've used it for 2 days now and it still says 100%. The manual does state that the battery is lithium-ion, which is awesome. Does not state so anywhere in the product details.

WOW is the only word that comes to mind with the Panasonic wet n dry shaver. I switched from Gillette's fusion 5 blade razor with vibra mode and at first there were awkward moments and a couple of days when I missed some spots but after 2 weeks of continuous use and practice I now get a perfect shave every morning. The closest shave I have ever experienced. I highly recommend this product but stress that converts from razor to electric need to be patient for atleast 2 weeks or longer until thier face and growth gets accustomed to the Panasonic.

I break out with adult acne every once in a while and shaving with a razor can irritate the acne prone areas. My dermatologist recommended a hybrid approach, where I would shave with an electric razor on my neck and regular blade shaving on the rest of my beard.
Well, I just got this electric razor and it works great. I did not get the irritation that I normally get when shaving with a standard blade.
The manual mentions that there is a 30 day period till the skin gets used to this way of shaving. If my first couple of shaves have been good, I can only imagine this getting better. Do not expect, the same level of closeness that you would get with standard shaving, but it comes pretty close to it.

I purchased this product after being impressed by its positive reviews on Amazon. I must say I am extremely disappointed with this product. I gave myself sometime before I came to any conclusions. I also used it with the Pre-Shaving lotion as recommended by many. Although the results were better but only slightly. The manufacturer recommends you use the product for at least a month so that your skin adjusts to the shaver but I still do not find any significant improvement after using this for over 2 months. I have to run the shaver back and forth numerous times before I can get a decent shave.
I must add that for the first time I feel the reviews at Amazon to be biased. Quite possible that I got unlucky. Nevertheless, I am returning this product!!
