I have used a succession of Remington electric shavers for years. The last couple however, have not wanted to hold a charge after a few months. I then went looking for different one. Consumer reports, rating sites, Amazon, etc. I finally decided on this one, partially because it was on sale. It works great, and I really like that it clearly displays the amount of charge remaining. I do think it requires a more frequent charge, as it seems to use about 10% of its power when I use it. Of course, being retired, I don't shave every day. Therefore when I do use it, it gets a real workout. My wife likes it because it is a lot less noisy that my old ones. Just a pleasant hum.

I got this product three days ago and this are my observations:
PROS:
Good for my skin (I have sensitive skin and this product didn't cause any irritation.
Can be use both, wet and dry.
Indicates the power level as ¡00%. 90% Etc.
Battery charge in one hour.
CONS:
Cannot be use with the power cord attach (you need to use the battery).
Is not as good shaving corners and Adam's apple. I had to use a normal razor for this spots.
Conclusion: Still a good product, I use to be able to shave two times a week, with this product I can shave more often since is good with my skin.

I have used Norelco shavers for 45 years and found them very dependable. I read the fantastic reviews of the Panasonic es8103s and gave it a try. This is a very good shaver with many good features. However, I doesn't get the hard to shave whiskers any better then my old Norelco did. In some hard to shave areas, I think the triple heads may be better. I am not down on this shaver mind you, but I feel some of the reviewers went a little overboard. The
GOOD POINTS: Cleaning the Panasonic could not be any easier. Prompts on display for charging and cleaning are nice. Nice shape, fits hand well. BAD POINTS: Nothing but a cheap cloth bag to store it in, needs hard case to protect it. Gets quite warm while in use.
To sum it up, if the Panasonic lasts 15 years like my last Norelco did, then I will join the glowing review club too.

I bought this shaver to replace a Braun 5614 - expecting the Panasonic to shave closer and faster. That has not been the case. It runs much quieter than the Braun, but it is not faster nor does it give a closer shave.
The user manual states that the shaver should supply roughly 14 shaves of 3 minutes each when fully charged. I do not have a rough, thick beard at all - I could go a few days without shaving and most people might not notice. Yet it STILL takes me 8-10 minutes to shave (wet or dry) using the ES8103S. Thus, I only get 6-8 shaves out of a full charge.
Since the manual states a shave of 3 minutes, my conclusion was that Panasonic tested the model with 12-year-old boys -- or that I had a defect. So I sent my shaver back for a replacement and the new one is no different.
This is not a bad shaver at all; just know that you won't get 14 shaves on a full charge. Expect 5 to 9 shaves depending on how thick/heavy your beard is.

I have been using for about a month. I wasn't too impressed at first but now it's doing a better job. It's not as close as a razor but a lot less hassle and it comes in a very close second. I have been using it dry, but may give the wet test soon. The charging is quick and I get about 10 shaves on a full charge but it depends on how long it takes you to get the shave you want. I like the pop-up trimmer but don't use it much since I have a little Wahl beard and mustache trimmer. It's very ergonomic, and easy to control. I would recommend this shaver to anyone wanting to change over from a blade. Be sure and give it the month to see if it works for you.
